We have always been proud of our WW1 German uniforms. They are the flagship of our lines. We use the finest in materials including our own custom dyed linings and our custom milled wool. As with all our products we have constantly strived for improvement. We still consider our first tunics to have been pretty nice, since then we have made a lot of improvements to make them better and to exceed your expectations. Our current generation of German uniforms are made of our brand new Feldgrau wool. It is an extremely densely woven wool and the color is perfect. We think it is the finest wool ever used for WW1 German uniforms. We have changed to lining to feldgrau to be better in line with the majority of our war-time made German garments. Our buttons are very nice stamped replicas and our collar hooks and hardware are made as they should be. Each of our tunics is available in our custom milled Feldgrau wool corduroy. This corduroy is beautiful, authentic and cooler than the normal melton wool. We do not skimp on any details! Our 1910 tunics include all 5 (FIVE!) internal pockets and features the "key-hole" button holes throughout. Each uniform is fully lined as it should be and made specifically for you. Each uniform is custom made to fit you. Currently completion of uniforms is approximately 8-12 weeks. Tunics The tunic or Waffenrock, is the most important part of your impression. During the Great War there were three basic styles of tunics used by the German Army -- the M.1907/10, the Transitional and the 1915 Bluse. We also offer Kurassier M.1910 tunics, Pioneer M1910 Tunics, Uhlankas and Drill uniforms |
